The Summer Aesthetic

I hope to make this something of a running series as I slowly start building on my summer wardrobe. I seem to have almost doubled in size since last summer and as a very faint, thin silver lining this means I have to buy new clothes for the summer time (if it every arrives).

Unacceptable Sexism

Recently, Cardiff Women’s Association hosted a talk by Laura Bates, founder of the Everyday Sexism Project, in which she discussed the ‘Lad Culture’ which is currently encouraging and causing sexist, sexually-aggressive behaviour amongst university students.

Brightening Up for Spring Time

My bank balance took a hammering recently, this is partly due to Boots offering 3 for 2 on makeup and beauty products. Of course, I took full advantage of this offer as a way of brightening up my makeup selection ready for the Spring season which is supposedly approaching – I saw snow three days ago so I’m dubious.

Beauty Saviours

Hi, everyone. It’s been a long while since I got around to doing a beauty post but worry not, today I have a *beautiful* selection of new things I’ve been trying out.
February was very much a beauty month for me as I had been struggling quite a lot with my skin, post-winter. Thankfully, a good friend came to the rescue and made me realise that the problem lay within my tired, unchanged beauty routine which was gradually drying me out.
